Ylivieska Pajukoski Ky

The Ylivieska Pajukoski wind farm is located near the small town of Ylivieska in northwest Finland, around 130 km south of the city of Oulu. The wind farm consists of nine turbines of the Vestas V126-3.3 MW turbine type and has been in operation since August 2015. The construction phase went through a snowy winter, which is typical for the Finnish north. Construction management was handled by reconcept Group's local partner, the project developer TM Voima Oy.

The Vestas 3.3 MW platforms are a now long-established technology that has been installed at around 60,000 sites worldwide, offshore and onshore. Their special feature is that they can be installed and maintained using standard installation and maintenance tools, thereby reducing operating and maintenance costs by minimising the need to stock spare parts.
