The Nordex N117/2400 turbine has been feeding green electricity into the grid since August 2016. It is located in the Pfaffengrün district of the town of Treuen in the Vogtland region of Saxony, Germany.
Whether wind or solar energy, hydro or tidal power - between project acquisition and conception, construction and commissioning of a renewable energy plant lie years of joint work by experts. Specialists from the fields of project development, construction and plant manufacturing as well as grid operation and technical plant support work hand in hand with the reconcept team. In addition, legal advisors and independent experts accompany our projects. Together, they create the basis for the performance of the reconcept investments, which reconcept actively accompanies throughout their entire life cycle.
Project development in Germany
reconcept develops new wind and photovoltaic sites in Germany through a project development team based in Berlin.
Project development in Finland
reconcept has excellent market access for wind projects in Finland and has numerous wind farms in the pipeline: The experienced wind farm specialists in the Helsinki team are currently working on projects with a total of around 3,300 megawatts. The first Finnish reconcept wind farms have already been feeding green electricity into the grid since 2015.
Project development in Canada
In Canada, reconcept's project focus is on three areas: We advise indigenous communities, Canada's First Nations, on project management of an independent renewable energy-based power supply. In addition, our Toronto team works on so-called "green field projects", the acquisition and securing of interesting areas for the development of new photovoltaic and wind farms. Two river power plant projects in British Columbia are also managed from Toronto. Another focus is the floating, new type of tidal power plants in the Canadian Bay of Fundy.
